The private nature reserve of farm 215 is part of the Walker Bay Conservancy and measures 800 hectares. Farm 215 is a sanctuary for an estimated 800 different "fynbos" plant species of the endangered Cape Floral Kingdom and a plethora of creeping, walking and flying creatures. Over 30 km of trails are available for hiking, horse riding and mountain biking in the reserve itself. Further trails expand into the Walker Bay Conservancy which extends over 15'000 hectares between the Klein River Estuary at the Walker Bay to the West and the Uilkraal Valley and the land of farm 215 to the east.
